Somnowell is a custom-made oral appliance worn during sleep. It works by gently positioning the lower jaw slightly forward, which opens the airway and reduces the vibrations that cause snoring. For patients with mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnoea, it can also help maintain a more open airway throughout the night.
Unlike over-the-counter devices, a Somnowell appliance is made to precise measurements, meaning it fits comfortably and works far more effectively.

Your treatment begins with a consultation where we discuss your symptoms, take a full history, and assess whether Somnowell is likely to be suitable for you. We’ll take detailed impressions of your teeth and jaw, which are used to create your custom appliance. A fitting appointment follows to ensure it sits comfortably and functions as intended.
Most patients notice an improvement in snoring from the first few nights. It can take a little time to get used to wearing an appliance overnight, but the majority of patients adapt quickly and find it comfortable.
