A thorough, regular assessment to keep your mouth healthy and catch any concerns before they become problems.

Why regular check-ups matter

Dental problems rarely announce themselves early. Regular health checks allow your dentist to monitor your teeth, gums, and soft tissues over time, spotting changes that might not yet be causing any symptoms and taking action while treatment is still straightforward.

At Everwell Dental, our dental health check is a comprehensive 16-point examination that goes well beyond a quick look around your mouth.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I have a check-up?

The recommended frequency varies from person to person. Your dentist will advise you on the interval that’s right for you, typically somewhere between six months and two years, based on your individual oral health.

Members of our dental plan have their routine check-ups included as part of their monthly fee.

What is an oral cancer screening?

An oral cancer screening is a quick visual and physical check of the soft tissues in and around your mouth, looking for any changes that could indicate the early signs of mouth cancer. It’s a painless check that takes only a few minutes and is included in every health check at Everwell Dental.

Do I need x-rays every time?

Not necessarily. Your dentist will only recommend x-rays when they’re clinically needed, such as when checking for decay between teeth or assessing the bone levels around your roots.
